The Multi 4XL trailing shoe system is a sophisticated and durable slurry spreader available with a working width of 27 m or 30 m. This distributor with a very high capacity is manufactured in a way the biggest pumps available will not be limited by the capacity of the distributor. Two 6” connections with rotary joints or one 8” connection supplies four Alrena precision macerators for precise slurry distribution over the entire working width. The systems connection to the tank is fitted with two acid-resistant rotary joints to prevent the feed hose (which is positioned between the tank and the spreader) from moving.

3 m or 4,5 m hydraulic folding arm extension
The Multi 4XL has an optional 3 m long hydraulic folding arm extension on each side. The folding arm option not only reduces the transport length, but also the working width if necessary. The working width will be reduced from 27 m to 21 m or from 30 m to 24 m. On the headland the arm extensions are slightly lifted to create extra space on the edge of the fields. Optionally, a 4.5 m arm extension folding is also available.

Standard model with wing suspension system
The ‘wing suspension system’ works automatically and there are no special prerequisites or requirements for the slurry tank. This system reduces the static and dynamic stress of the wide booms on the frame and on the hydraulic cylinder by at least 50%. The optimal interplay between the forces, which are simultaneously used as a counterweight, boosts the stability and durability of
the Multi 4XL machines.
